Area information

There are many well-signposted hiking trails to explore in the Steigerwald Nature Park and around the Hohenlandsberg fortress ruins. There are also beautiful cycle routes within the River Main valley region. Boats on the River Main offer daily trips through the Franconian wine-growing region, or on a more local level, there are opportunities to go rafting on the Upper Main.

Quick description

This quaint country hotel located in Franconia between the towns of Schweinfurt, Bamberg and Würzburg, has tastefully redecorated guestrooms and boasts very diverse local cuisine. The 18th-century friary tavern was renovated over the course of time and subsequently converted into a hotel. It has recently been given a new coat of paint, and we added a brand-new beer garden in 2008. All guestrooms in the hotel had indeed already undergone a wholescale refurbishment in 2007. There is ample parking space is available, even for larger vehicles.
